Welcome to Lawyers for Olens
We, the Committee for Lawyers for Olens, have come to together for one common cause – to ask lawyers in Georgia to join us in electing Sam Olens as our State’s next Attorney General. Sam Olens has the extensive legal and administrative skills and experience, along with the undisputed integrity and professionalism, needed to be an outstanding Attorney General. We ask that you show your support by joining us as a Lawyer for Olens.
As attorneys, we know the importance of Georgia’s Attorney General. As the State’s chief lawyer, the Attorney General initiates civil and criminal actions on behalf of the Governor and the State, prosecutes public corruption, serves as a watchdog for violation of the public trust by elected officials, and manages a government agency that touches all parts of the State and its citizens.
Not only has Sam Olens proven himself to be the clear frontrunner in this race, he is also the candidate who is most qualified and ready to execute the duties of this office on day one. Through his 25 years as a respected litigator, eight years as Chairman of the Cobb County Commission and five years as the Chairman of the Atlanta Regional Commission, Sam has been honed his skills as a lawyer, managed a government agency with 4500 employees and an annual budget of $805 million –more than 10 times that of the AG’s office – and worked tirelessly to find statewide solutions to some of Georgia’s toughest problems, including transportation, air and water issues.
These experiences have prepared him to to lead the Office of the Attorney General effectively and efficiently, and proven that he is a public servant with a deep understanding of the State’s needs and political landscape and the highest degree of integrity, honor and courage.
Sam Olens will be a great Attorney General. We ask that you join the host of lawyers across the state who support Sam Olens for Attorney General by endorsing him on this website.
